ABOUT
YEAR 5_ UNIVERSITY OF OREGON
I’ve been drawing since before I can remember (little me is holding some of my first work). When I was younger, I wanted to be a fine artist; now, I’m more interested in applying my creative skills and aesthetic sensibilities to make artful products. As a Computer Science and Clark Honors College student, I’m a deft writer of both code and analytical work, which strengthens my ability to make and convincingly present functional goods.
I’m particularly drawn to the intersection of technology, social responsibility, and design, but I really love designing any and everything. I’ve worked as a UI/UX intern, bag sewist, graphic design intern, wood-shop tech, and product developer, from the Whitehead Institute at MIT to Y/ELM+ sportswear in Stockholm.
When I have time outside my studies and practice, I like to run, bike, bake bread, read, and ride my Royal Enfield. I live and breathe music: I love to play the piano and fingerstyle guitar, produce on Logic Pro, and burn CDs.
